I was born in Freiburg im Breisgau in 1973 and have lived with my family in Switzerland since 1998.

Art has always played a central role in my life. In my childhood home, creativity was not only valued but actively encouraged – an attitude that still shapes me today.

My schooling in Germany led me to my Abitur (university entrance qualification) with advanced courses in art and English. Language and artistic forms of expression have accompanied me through all phases of my life ever since.

Since 2021, I have dedicated myself intensively to painting, especially large-format, abstract works. I continuously expand my knowledge by studying with various artists and actively seek out creative challenges.

My working method is process-oriented: A painting emerges in several layers – through overpainting, removing, and adding, depth and tension develop. I find inspiration in nature, in color harmonies, light moods, and inner images.

A work of art often begins in the mind, with a vague idea. The first brushstrokes initiate a process that lasts days, weeks, or sometimes months – until a painting speaks its own language and tells a story.

My art is colorful, abstract, and open to interpretation. It invites you to pause, let your eyes wander, and allow your thoughts to roam. For me, painting is also a form of meditation—a space for becoming, for reflection, and for inner clarity.
